Hello Mami-san,
Thank you for the comment. Unfortunatly, I was not able to understand some of it. Below are the parts I understood (or guessed at):
ダヴィンチコードはとっても面白いですよね。
Da Vinci Code was interesting.
私もやっと読み終わりました。
I also finished reading it.
ところでダイエットは順調ですか?
Something about diet. Unfortunately, I am too lazy to stay on a diet.
Sorry, after I tried to translate your sentences, I realized that I did not know as much as I thought. The rest of your comments, I only understood a few words (or phrases).
*Something about drinking juice.
*Japanese tea- yes, I do often drink Japanese tea.
*Something about tea & water.
*A man got diabetes from tea & water!?!
Sorry, now I being lazy. After 30 minutes trying to ready your comment, I'm going to call it a night. Instead of looking up all of the hiragana words in a dictionary, I would rather relax in the bath.
I do appreciate receiving comments about my blog. I just need to stop being lazy and study, so that I can read the comments that are written in Japanese.

Oh, don't be sorry...I AM sorry. I had no idea how much you understand because your blog was very well written using a lot of kanji.
What I wrote was; yes, I FINALLY finished reading that book, and...
*How is your diet going? Aren't you drinking only juice when you're thirsty?
*Juice is tasty indeed, but drinking too much of it damages your health. Don't you drink Japanese tea? It's better to drink tea or water. An acquaintance of mine, a young man, got diabetes after drinking juice frequently instead of water. It doesn't matter how much we weigh, but it is important to keep fit, so please be careful.

Hello Mami-san,
Thanks for the translation (and the kind words about my blog). The reason my blog seems well written with a lot of Kanji is because a Japanese friend of mine corrects my many mistakes. A part of me likes having the corrections, but another part thinks that no corrections should be made. Without the corrections, readers of my blog can get a more clearer idea of my Japanese writing level. I am going to ask my friend to not send corrections for the above reason.
A couple of responses to your comments:
*What was your opinion of the Da Vinci Code?
*About drinking Juice. I use to drink only juice when I was thirsty(about 2,000ml or 3,000ml each day), but I realized that I was getting fat from all the sugar. I had forgotten that the sugar that isn't used by the body gets stored in the body as fat. Now, I try to drink juice once at each meal time, and I drink water when I am thirsty. In total, I think that I drink about 4,000ml of liquids per day(summer time [about 2,000ml in the wintertime]). When I am outside (or working) I would usually drink green tea with breakfast and lunch. However, now that I am home doing nothing, I have not been drinking much tea. Also, sitting home doing nothing has made it more difficult for me to motivate myself to exercise. I want to buy a bicycle(outside) and a rowing machine(inside), but being fired from the -- Oh, excuse me...."resigning from" the high school. Since my employement is currently in doubt, I can't buy anything until I know what I will be doing in September.
Well, I think that's about it. Thanks again for the translation.

Hi! As I'm very much interested in Western paintings, and "Da Vinch Code" refers even to my favorite masterpieces, it was really an exciting story. I forget if I told you I had majored in French literature, but I did, and the conversation is partly written in French, which made it even more interesting for me. Paris is the city I always feel like visiting again... with its all museums and historical sights it is a treasure house. All the characters are actually a bit stereotyped, but I even love that popularity.
I hope your financial condition will be stable enough for you to feel not only safe but free...

Hello Mami-san,
Thanks for the comment. I agree, I thought the story was an exciting story.
No, I did not know that you had majored in French literature, but I did know that you spoke French.
Ja mata...
